Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.

Can't get away for March Break this year...plan an excursion to the1909 Kitchen instead. Taco 'bout fun! This is a family friendly event.

We'll start by making a fresh salsa, known as pico de gallo and then try our hand at making soft tortilla shells. Fish tacos with Slaw or Chicken tacos change up the usual ground beef options, making this a versatile dinner to make at home when the mood strikes.

We'll finish the evening by sitting down to sample all of the delicious foods we've made together.

Class is recommended for kids 12-18 years of age when accompanied by an adult. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the class fee, but are available for purchase during the evening.

Please bring your own reusable containers and water bottle to help us reduce the use of single use plastics.
