Do disagreements with your partner cause you stress? Do fights leave you feeling drained and distant?
Would you like to feel more deeply connected to your partner, and develop more caring ways of communicating?
All relationships have conflict, but it doesn't always have to be destructive. Sometimes it even leads to new possibilities.
This one-day workshop for couples will explore ways of approaching disagreements that can lead you in more loving directions. In the workshop we will:
- Explore our personal reactions to conflict;
- Understand how our brains work when we're stressed, and how we can calm them;
- Explore underlying feelings and needs that often drive conflict; and
- Practice deep listening.
This workshop involves games, movement, personal reflection, and participatory activities. It is based in your experience, but there is no requirement to share personal information, unless you choose to.
ACCESSIBILITY: The space is physically accessible. Please contact us with any specific requests or questions about access. We ask that the event be scent free.
You can register on your own, or with your partner. Single tickets are $60. If you order together, each ticket is $55. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $50 per person until April 24th.
