As Volunteer Managers/Coordinators you get to meet some of the most fascinating, passionate, and committed people. You interview many volunteers throughout the year and have a good handle on the process. This webinar series is all about how to take those volunteer interviews from good to great, and to give you some extra strategies for your tool box so that you can ultimately fit the volunteer to the right volunteer position within your organization.

July 20th Week 1 - Listening to what volunteers are really trying to say

August 3rd Week 2 - How to ask really good questions

August 17th Week 3 - Assumptions & Judgements

August 31st Week 4 - Giving feedback vs acknowledgement

  • Register for all 4 workshops for $40.00 or register for each one seperately $12.00
  • If you are registered for the webinars and not able to attend you will reeive a recording.
  • The content of webinar will be from 12-12:30 with 15 mins at the end for questions.

About the facilitator:

Tracey Gibson is a 4th generation Victorian who loves living on the Westcoast. She has over 15 years experience in the non profit sector, and for the last 5 years has been coaching individuals, and facilitating workshops. Tracey has a Leisure Services BA from UVIC and a Certificate Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. Tracey has volunteered for most of her life and currently finished her term as past president with Volunteer Victoria. One of her most memorable volunteering experiences was going to New Zealand for the Eco-Challenge.

When not creating learning opportunities for non-profit professionals (she is the current Manager of Learning and Training at VV) Tracey can be found spending time with her 2 children, and husband or running with her Sole Sisters on the trails of Victoria.
