The Talk Trauma conference will take place at the Hellenic Community Centre on Southdale road in London.

The themes for adult and paediatric days are “It’s Complicated, Inequities in Trauma” and "From the Beginning to the End", respectively. Exceptional speakers will focus on present-day topics such as, acute care of the trauma patient, harm reduction, transport for the critically ill, rehabilitative care and the lived experience.

Inspired by the global focus on climate change, we are proud to share that the Talk Trauma conference has Gone Green! Our organizational committee is dedicated to minimizing paper waste associated with conference preparation and administration.

London Health Sciences Centre’s Trauma Program annually hosts “Talk Trauma”, a conference for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and emergency medical services professionals involved in providing care for trauma patients. The conference brings over 300 professionals from the region together to share their expertise, discuss emerging trends, and learn new approaches to improve the care of trauma patients across the region.

 

The Program also hosts regular Stop the Bleed® courses to train bystanders on the basics of controlling life-threatening bleeding.
