Critiques can be daunting for artists, but don’t be scared! They exist to help rather than hinder us.

A group critique is a group of artists coming together to talk about their art and to give each other advice. During these two hours, each person will talk about their work, leading into an open discussion. This discussion will get you thinking about your process, why you make art and focusing on your successes. You will discover that the more group critiques you participate in, the more inspired and comfortable you will feel - not only talking about your own work, but other artists’ work too.
Bring a finished project or a work in progress. If you have sketchbook work, inspiration boards or any process work, please bring those along too. We will spend the first five minutes setting up and displaying our work before we begin.
