Event description

Description

The Ontario Aboriginal Lands Association (OALA) want to engage land managers in Ontario's North through this hands on capacity development workshop focused around "Talking About the Land".

Land Managers in the North face a wide array of challenging issues that may not affect their southern counterparts as much. This focused capacity development workshop and relationship building framework is set to alleviate some of those issues and bring Northern Land managers capacity development into the forefront. Through the Talking About the Land event, we hope to engage participants in a way that will encourage meaningful and relevant discussions, by providing presentations that reflect the experiences and needs of First Nations in the North. The Conference Agenda is broken into 3 key parts

  1. Engagement and Networking
  2. Training
  3. Support Services
