BASSMENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS - In order to enter The Bassment, all patrons are required to present government issued proof of full vaccination (two doses) and valid photo ID. Alternatively, patrons must present a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time. BASSMENT MASK POLICY - The Bassment is located in a City of Saskatoon building. City policy requires that masks be worn when entering the building. Once inside the club, masks are no longer required for patrons. However, masks are recommended. Staff, volunteers, and artists walking about the venue will be required to wear a mask.

Formerly known as the best kept secret in soul music, Toronto-based singer Tanika Charles has become a staple of the scene both at home and abroad. Her music revels in honesty and attitude. Her live show is high energy and endearing. The 2x JUNO Award nominated and 2x Polaris Prize long-listed singer continues to win audiences over one stream, one Shazam and one encore at a time.

Since releasing Soul Run in 2016, Tanika has completed 5 tours across 9 countries and has headlined in over 70 performances. She and her band, The Wonderfuls, oscillate between faithful recreations of her studio recordings and cross genre nods to rock, gospel, and country influences. In 2019 Tanika had the honour of being named the inaugural Polaris artist-in-residence for 2020 at the Studio Bell National Music Centre.

MASK POLICY - Saskatchewan government regulations state that all persons in public indoor spaces are required to wear masks. Once Bassment patrons are seated at their tables, they may remove their masks if so desired.
