Description
Taproom Talks are casual, public seminars hosted under the umbrella of the focal International Year of the Salmon. Big Spruce provides beer tastings as part of this event series, including 'Tag! You're It!' the NE IPA dubbed "conservation in a can," which donates a portion of proceeds from each purchase to ocean conservation, education and awareness programs in NS.
This month's speaker is Eddie Halfyard. Eddie turned his passion for angling and the outdoors into a full-time job as a senior researcher with the Nova Scotia Salmon Association. His research interests include acid rain, invasive species and predator-prey relationships. A naturalist at heart, Eddie takes listeners to the shores of Nova Scotia's historic salmon-rich rivers and coastlines.
