Get your questions about media and public relations answered by professionals, and meet some of Mississauga's leading media personnel. Network with your peers and get tips for your next press release or social media campaign!
About the panelists:
Jay Kana proudly owns Modern Mississauga Media, focusing on celebrating what our community offers. Specializing in video and digital storytelling, he's also a professional travel and automotive videographer and photographer. He's also an avid kayaker and musician.
Paige Williams is a Digital Marketing Consultant at the City of Mississauga, running content strategy for the @saugaculture and @saugaLIVE brands. However, she’s been chronically online for much longer. From blogging & content creating to drumming up press for bands & creating experiential fan events, her career has taken her on a dozen paths through various creative fields (with a focus in the music industry). No matter how global or local your project is, there’s always a story behind it that can be shared to reach your potential audience – her work focuses on how to tell it & make that connection happen.
