KEYNOTE: Douglas Cardinal
Multiple award-winning architect and Officer of the Order of Canada, whose work has become a forerunner of philosophies of sustainability, green buildings, and ecologically designed community planning.

Following the short keynote, Douglas Cardinal will be joined with Lindsay (Swooping Hawk) Kretschmer and Riley Yesno for conversation and reflection.

IN CONVERSATION WITH: Lindsay (Swooping Hawk) Kretschmer
Executive Director of Toronto Aboriginal Social Services Association and a recipient of the YWCA Young Woman of Distinction Awards for her commitment to social change and advocacy.

IN CONVERSATION WITH: Riley Yesno
Writer, advocate and storyteller who has worked with Indigenous leaders across the country on a First Nation’s Self-Determination advisory board.

MODERATED BY: Kyle Edwards
Award-winning journalist with Maclean’s. He is Anishinaabe and grew up on the Lake Manitoba First Nation.
