Join me for an afternoon swept up in making magick!

At a gorgeous venue located in Ayr, Ontario in a beautifully restored barn on an incredible property. We will be surrounded by the elements, trees in their full mantle of colours for autumn, fields of golden yellow straw and wheat, pea fowl, and a beautiful hostess, Belinda of All Season Oddities.

This retreat will be an experience for those who want to learn the magick of brooms and tea! We will start with an opening/blessing ritual. Then right into the making part. Each participant will learn how to craft their own cobweb broom as well as turkey wing whisk. We will work our own personal manifestations into our pieces as we are crafting them.

While both of these items have their mundane functions, we will learn together their magickal uses. Once we have crafted our creations, we will then consecrate them with a ceremony and the 4 main elements of earth, air, fire and water.

Beautiful herbal tisanes and vegan snacks will be provided for when we take breaks. Lastly, each participant will have a mini Lenormand Tea card reading with me at the end of the day. That way you will be able to carry those messages, and magick of our afternoon together into the Celtic New Year celebrations of Samhain in the weeks to follow.

So, come sweep and steep away on a magickal afternoon with me!

Space is limited to 11 people.

Please bring your own camp chair and dress accordingly as while we will be in the barn for most of the afternoon and out of the direct elements, it is a barn and therefore not heated.

About your instructor Amy Taylor:

As well as being the owner of TAoTaT’s Mystic Tearoom, she is also a Certified Tea Sommelier, Tea Leaf and Card Reader, horticulturist, organic gardener, community herbalist and artist. Amy has always been an artist who chooses to create with things found in nature. She was making brooms over the last 20 years, but when her father passed in 2012, she lost her muse.

In late 2020 Amy rekindled her love and passion for creating with natural material by making brooms again. She had 20lbs of broom corn sitting in her basement for over 10 years that she rediscovered, and decided to begin working with it and making brooms again. She took a few online courses to refresh her muscle memory, and now offers brooms for sale through her shop. She also does custom requests, send her an email to find out how you can get onto her creating schedule.
