Event description
This is a workshop for international graduate students at McMaster who are interested in teaching and/or working as a teaching assistant.

About this Event

Are you an international graduate student who is interested in teaching? Are you uncertain about what teaching in a Canadian classroom might look like? If so, you are invited to a Teaching in a Canadian Classroom workshop. In this workshop we will discuss what a teaching assistant is, identify strategies for planning a lesson, and discuss interacting with students. The workshop will conclude with a question and answer period led by a group of experienced international TAs.

Please note that this is an optional workshop, not a TA training or orientation. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any questions, please email Elliot Storm at storme@mcmaster.ca.
