Event description

Description

Following the Instruction "Wait"

Integrating youth with autism into the community is very important so that they can socialize and participate in daily activities. However, some youth often have difficulties being safe in open spaces. One of the most difficult and important skills for people to learn in order to behave safely in public is waiting. This workshop will explore the importance of learning this skill and outline how to teach it to those with ASD. Participants will leave with an individualized plan to begin the teaching process.

WHEN: Thursday, September 26th, 2019 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
WHERE: Autism Ontario Windsor-Essex Office - Conference Room B
WHO: Presented by Nicki Bergamin - BCBA
