Wow - the last two years have been a roller coaster ride! Between the pandemic, the Nelson Innovation Centre (NIC) opening & then closing, a change over in staff at Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST). We've hardly had time to sit back, relax and socialize.
In-person Tech Meet-ups came to a grinding halt with the pandemic. Even though we are still dealing with the swirl of changes that seem to be hitting us (cue wildfires, floods, variants), it is time to re-establish some normalcy.
Join us for our first in-person tech meet-up in a long time! It'll be an evening of socializing and networking, a chance to meet the new faces at KAST and catch up with some friends that you may not have seen for a while.
We will begin to hold monthly events that include speakers, presentations, and networking opportunities in January.
Due to capacity restrictions, all attendees must pre-register. We will also be adhering to the Provincial Health guidelines and checking for vaccine passports at the door.
