About this Event

Join City of Mississauga Forestry staff on Saturday, October 26 at Tecumseh Park for a morning of tree planting and stewardship! We will be planting native trees and shrubs in the woodland and removing invasive shrubs.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon)

All tools, gloves and training will be provided. Please wear close-toed shoes and be prepared to get dirty. Please bring a reusable water bottle or mug; there will be a water fill up station on site. The event will run rain or shine; thunderstorms or heavy downpours are cause to cancel the event.

Group registration is limited to 10 people. If you have a larger group and would like to get involved with stewardship at Tecumseh Park, we can arrange a group event specifically for your group. Please contact 3-1-1 for more information.

Meeting spot: End of Tecumseh Park Dr. near park entrance at 1115 Tecumseh Park Dr. Park on streets where permitted.
