TEDMEDLive 2016 - Social + Science

TEDMED is an annual event that brings together inspiring speakers and a passionate global audience. This year's theme is "What If?"
In this session,Social + Science speakers will explore the question, "What if we could create a stronger culture of health by addressing its social and environmental factors?"
Following the live-streamed event we will have a local panel discussion with speakers from the University of Alberta and from the community. We invite you to join us as we explore questions that can reshape the way we think about health and wellness.

Can I watch these sessions online on my own computer?
TEDMEDLive sessions may be streamed only by approved affiliates. While some of the talks in these sessions may be posted online in the future, the live sessions are only available for viewing via an approved livestreamed session.
What is TEDMED Live?
TEDMED Live is online, livestreaming access to the TEDMED conference in Palm Springs, California. The full program can be found here.
Is this same as TED Talks?

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Edmonton Clinic Health Academy is easily reached by bus or LRT: Health Sciences Jubilee Station
Parking is available on the UofA campus.
Are all sessions being live streamed?
Yes. All sessions will be livestreamed. There will be panel discussions following three sessions, New Models, End Game and Social + Science. Times and locations can be found here.
