Teens Morning Club: 7 Steps to a More Happy and Successful Life

This IS The Personal Mastery Class for all kids that need some added structure to help them be their best at all time. This 7 step morning program is developed for teens taking into account what is really needed to be successful and happy, living lives with less stress and positive coping skills as we grow into adults.
Students will meet once a week in this club. In between classes students will be encouraged to follow this routine. Accountability will help ensure your child's success in every area of their life.
This program will work with students on healthy and effective morning routines which include meditation, breathe work, physical activity, goal setting, goal boards, reading, gratitude and affirmation journals and connection with oneself and others.
What to expect each morning:Week 1:First class, we will sit down in a comfortable spot and play a fun warm up game to ease tensions and then introduce ourselves. I will then go through the class guidelines and expectations, as well as what to expect each day.Next we will write down our three daily achievable goals and talk about dream boards and students will be assigned dream boards as home growth time.
We will then write in our Gratitude Affirmation journal(which I will explain further the first class)We will then learn about sun salutations and why they are an important part of your successful routine. I will demonstrate and help students to do them. We will start off slow this day by learning the steps of a sun salutation.
Then we will go through breathing exercises to relax our minds and bodies and then a ten minute guided meditation.Then a goodbye to our fellow club mates until next week.
Weeks 2: Students will be introduced to goal setting in great detail and will be encouraged to share their dream boards by week 3. The focus will be on developing their awareness of what they want in their lives as they are now and mature, to create a happy balance in all areas. This Includes relationally, emotionally, financially, physically and mentally. Students will be assigned homework to work on their goals through gathering pictures, drawings and quotes and words of inspiration.
Goal setting and daily gratitude and affirmation journals. We will end the class with breath-work and meditation.
Week 3: students will be encouraged to share with the lass their goal boards. Then we will set daily goals and write in our gratitude and affirmations journal.
Weeks 4-6: Today and each day hereafter, we will write down our three daily achievable goals.We will then write in our Gratitude Affirmation journal. We will then be introduced to sub salutations(a yoga sequence) and do 5 sun salutations.Then we will go through breathing exercises to relax our minds and bodies.Finally, a ten minute guided meditation. will seal the morning routine.
Through focus and repetition, students will develop healthy routines that will allow them to become successful teens and adults that are living a more happy and well rounded life.
They will be encouraged to always be impeccable with their word, to stop taking anything and everything personally, stop making assumptions and to always be doing their very best. They will be encouraged to set high standards for themselves, knowing they are capable of anything they set their minds to.
Students will bring their vision boards to class and be prepared to share them with the group. We will end the class with meditation.
We know that it takes 30 days to break a habit, 30 days to create new habits and 30 days of implementation for a new habit to be successfully implanted in ones life. We ask that your child prepare to commit to this program for a period of 12-24 sessions for ultimate results.
