SAFE Committee Basics
Our introductory course recommended to all before attending other courses. This interactive course covers duties and responsibilities of people in the workplace. Details regarding the role and function of the safety and health committee will be covered including procedures and requirements for meetings, hazard recognition and control, inspections and right to refuse scenarios. Setting up a well trained safety and health committee is the first step in achieving a good Safety and Health culture.

1. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Participant changes are fine. Please notify safeworktraining@safeworkmanitoba of any changes to participant names. Certificates of Completion are produced based on Registration Information. Please ensure that the spelling of names are correct.
2. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
SAFE Work Manitoba is able to validate parking only when participants park at the:
1. *North Parking Lot of the Winnipeg Convention Centre at 375 York Ave. *(between St Mary Ave & York Ave) or,
2. The Delta Hotel at 350 St. Mary Avenue.
Parking at these locations is dependent on availability – spots are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Both are indoor, heated parking lots.
