Event description

Description

Good tunes. Great vibes. For an even better cause.

Yep - That's My Jam!

Join us for VOLUME FOUR (!!) of TMJ - a 'name that tune' event where teams of up to 4 compete against each other in fast-paced rounds of music recollection - all to support TurF's charity of choice and a Mealshare funding recipient - Breakfast Club of Canada.

Hosted at Turf in Kits, make sure to reserve a spot by signing up your team captain today.

A FEW DEETS:

When does it start?

Doors are at 7:00 pm on Friday October 26. The competition begins promptly at 7:30 pm.

How many people are allowed on a team?

You can have a maximum of 4 people on your team.

How much does it cost to compete?

$100 per team. (Split 4 ways = $25 per person. #reasonable)

Do I need to know who is on my team before I register?

Nope. We recommend saving your team's spot now cause space is limited. We'll reach out to get all their names closer to party time.

Do we have to be really good at knowing obscure music tunes and trivia?

This ain't the major leagues. This is simply major fun. Each round will feature multiple genres and artists through the ages to ensure sing-a-longs and "I know this one"s are in abundance.

But there IS a winner, right?

Heck yah there is! Collect the most points each round and your team will walk away with both bragging rights and a nice prize. #winning

Where's a good place to eat dinner before the event?

Winners never compete on an empty stomach! We recommend grabbing dinner at TurF so you can easily strategize with your team beforehand. We've got your first bevee and some light snacks covered to keep you satiated throughout the evening.

What do the proceeds go toward?

1 in 5 Canadian children won't eat breakfast today. From coast to coast, the Breakfast Club of Canada helps feed over 200,000 students in 1,600 schools every school morning - giving students an equal chance of success, one breakfast at a time. We chose this organization as we are passionate about developing our youth and ensuring youth hunger is a thing for the history books.

I got more questions, who can I reach out to?
