The 2017 MEPP Stakeholder Governance Meeting - Edmonton
Good news! The 2017 MEPP stakeholder governance meeting has been scheduled for October 27, 2017.
The MEPP Board continues to take a proactive approach to communication with stakeholders, including Plan members, on any changes to the Plan and areas of concern. This includes regular semi-annual newsletters, ad-hoc newsletters and updates and consultations with stakeholders, as needed.
Members and employers are invited to attend our 2017 Stakeholder Governance Meeting in Edmonton. This is your chance to:
1. Meet Board members, Board staff, the Plan actuary and investment consultant;
2. Learn more about the Board and the Plan; and
3. Ask questions and provide feedback directly to the Board.
You will have the opporunity to attend one of two sessions, held in downtown Edmonton, on October 27. One will be from 9 to 11 a.m. and the second from 1 to 3 p.m. Please note one session (am or pm) might be cancelled if attendance is low.
Registration is open until October 13, 2017. We encourage you to register early and secure a place as there will be limited space. However, if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your (free) ticket to provide the opportunity for other interested MEPP members and employers to attend.
IMPORTANT: The meeting is being held in secure government facilities. As such, pre-registration (with first and last names) is mandatory and photo identification or a Government of Alberta employee badge is required for sign-in and entry into the meetings. Please arrive early in order to allow time for sign-in. The meeting will begin on time.
