Description

A Faith in Literature: Notes on a Shared Vocation

Gregory and Suzanne Wolfe met while studying English literature at Oxford University. After they married, they founded Image, a journal of contemporary art that grapples with the religious sense. In the decades since they've co-authored books and written their own, all informed by their Catholic faith. Their presentation will share some of what they've learned-and are still learning-along the way. Among these lessons are the joys of reverent irreverence, the mystery of the sacramental imagination, and why "the tragic sense of life" offers us the most hopeful vision of the world.

Sponsored by the Christianity and Culture Program at the University of St. Michael's College through the genorosity of Angela Macri and George Macri.
