Event description

Description

The Action Global Health Network (#AGHN) is a one-day conference at the University of Ottawa which stimulates discussion, inspires action, facilitates networking and challenges perceptions about local and international global health and development issues.

This year marks the conference’s 6th iteration, marking 6 years of promoting collaboration – bringing together current and future leaders, stakeholders, and passionate individuals from a diversity of backgrounds – including allied health and medicine, law and policy, science and technology amongst many others.

The conference starts with registration at 9:30 am and will end at 6pm. During the day there will be numerous inspiring and thought-provoking keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and opportunities to network and learn from one another. This year we will again feature a research symposium providing conference attendees the opportunity to highlight their global health research activities of all academic levels.

Breakfast pastries, lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided!

Paired with Canada's 150th birthday in the nation's capital, this event is promised to be extraordinary. The global health conference is open to all – from students to working professionals, of all backgrounds and areas of passion and interest. We hope you will join us this coming September!

Sincerely,

The uOGHC Planning Team
