Event description
The Tau Kappa Chapter's 97th Annual Frank Norris Pig Dinner

About this Event

The Tau Kappa chapter of Phi Gamma Delta cordially invites you to our 97th annual Pig Dinner being held at the University of Toronto Hart House on Saturday, November 21st, 2020.

Phi Gamma Delta's Norris Pig Dinners are the most widely observed and longest continually running, chapter-based, annual graduate event in the Greek world. The first Pig Dinner was held at the University of California Berkeley in 1893. In 1902, the Pig Dinner was dedicated in memory of Frank Norris (California Berkeley 1894), whose sense of humor created the event that has become an annual ceremony throughout Phi Gamma Delta. On this special night, we will be having Keith Thomas as our keynote speaker along with some specially prepared presentations on our chapter's history. We will be bringing back our annual Pig Dinner 50/50, raffle prizes, and guest gifts.

This year we have introduced the option of sponsoring a pledges Pig Dinner plate and donate to the chapter, this will help the chapter cover expenses.

Join us on this amazing evening as we reminisce, renew our bonds of brotherhood, and celebrate the continued success of Tau Kappa.

Please note that if circumstances surrounding COVID-19 do not allow for this event to take place, tickets will be fully refunded if you choose (aside from Eventbrite fees). In this case, brothers will be contacted and Pig Dinner will be hosted online via Zoom.
