The ABCs of startup launch: Tips, tools and strategies to success
This seminar is designed for you--the aspiring entrepreneur--who is passionate about solving problems and wants to make a difference in your community by launching a startup business and create jobs.
The small class session (25 seats max) will provide you with crucial knowledge and the steps to follow in order to make that startup dream a reality. The session will use the concept called 'disciplined entrepreneurship', a strategy developed and introduced at MIT by Professor Bill Aulet, Managing Director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.
The seminar speaker and facilitator (Dr. Rey Rosales) was one of Professor Aulet's students at MIT this summer. During his training, Rey was able to interact and learn from renowned MIT professors, design thinkers, user innovators, angel investors and venture capitalists, Forbes 500 executives, and many other leaders in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Examples of concepts to be introduced in this seminar include: knowing your customer, estimating the size of your market, value proposition, understanding your core business, monetizing your idea, go to market strategy, financials, etc.
