Meet the Speaker:

Jason Hynes

Jason is a partner with Bereskin & Parr and has spent years helping his clients develop strong patent and trademark portfolios. He has helped his clients enforce their rights, and defended their products, throughout Canada and the U.S.

Trained as a mechanical engineer at the University of Waterloo, his practice now focuses on mechanical, electromechanical and software innovations. He is a lawyer and registered patent agent in Canada and the U.S., as well as a Canadian trademark agent. Jason is also an adjunct professor at Western University where he teaches courses in Advanced Patent Law and Advanced Intellectual Property.
