The ALARM Dialogues

About this Event

Indigenous Peoples are on the front lines of water-related environmental stress, especially in the face of climate change. They also have much to teach the rest of the world about how to respect and care for water. The panel brings together Indigenous perspectives on water stewardship, justice and governance.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Sheri Longboat will present on Indigenous rights and water governance
  • Laurie Minor will stand in for Mary Anne Caibaiosai, who is unable to attend, to speak about the All Nations Water Walk
  • Kelly Davis will present a Six Nations perspective on water issues
