The Annotated Christmas Song Book
Overview
THE ANNOTATED CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK is a spirited Yuletide musical revue that lets you experience songs of the season in a sparkling new light. Featuring some of Edmonton’s most talented and versatile musical artists, this is a Christmas concert that embraces the enchanting music of the season in all its wide and surprising variety.
But what makes the evening especially unique is that every song is introduced with a fascinating annotation - a story that gives each holiday tune fresh meaning and new perspective.
Sometimes funny, sometimes dramatic, sometimes just weird, every annotation adds another angle on the Christmas season and its traditions.
For the sixth time this celebration of Yule time magic, music and holiday lore is presented in the majestic Sanctuary of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
The evening features musical performances by Frank Burgess, Kelly Collins, Ken Davis, Linda Grass, Bev Ross, Andrea Trueman, C.M. Zuby and the Central Lions Senior Choir.
Uplifting, amusing, inspiring, enlightening and unexpected, THE ANNOTATED CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK is an utterly one-of-a-kind holiday experience suitable for the whole family.
THE ANNOTATED CHRISTMAS SONG BOOK is a fundraiser for arts programming at Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
