Dr. Hamed Hanafi, PhD

Hamed is an electrical engineer and holds a PhD in biomedical engineering. His area of expertise is respiratory diagnosis, monitoring and therapy technologies. He is trained in the commercialization of medical devices, has innovated in multiple start-up med-tech companies and holds (or has pending) multiple patents in the field of lung health. Dr. Hanafi founded NovaResp in 2016 with the aim to develop the next generation therapy technology for patients with sleep apnea.
Dane George, Co founder / COO Rayleigh Solar Tech
BEng, MASc, PEng, Research Associate
Dane is a professional engineer, energy consultant and research associate with a diverse background in education, renewable energy project development and building energy management. Dane is also involved with the Applied Energy Lab at NSCC as a project lead doing product development research for industry partners. He has worked with several clients, organizing and delivering demand side management programs and developing communication and educational materials. Dane will leverage his knowledge of the solar industry to help manage Rayleigh Solar Tech’s operations and fundraising efforts.
