Description

The Artistry of the Edged Brush

Instructor: Betty Locke

Have fun discovering what a simple half inch brush can do in creating lovely flowers. We will do brush manipulations that create tulip, iris, daffodil and daisies and many more. Supplies are few. You will need your pad of practice paper, a half inch brush gold sable series 850 with the acrylic handle is ideal, a palette with watercolour paints hardened into it or if you have no palette a child’s box of colours may do. You need a water container. If you have any of the old computer paper which has the green lines on it, the back side of this paper is ideal to learn these strokes.

Prerequisite: A good working knowledge of Italic.
