Description

To celebrate Earth Day (although it is every day) come over to Duncan United Church and be inspiried. Action is the antidote to despair.

This Australian documentary chronicling 5 years of community engagement is grassroots activism at its finest. The timely story of a community’s heroic stand against fracked gas fields shows clearly how strategic direct action and peaceful protest can not only overcome industrial might and political short-sightedness but it can also be a lot of fun. Their fight against fracking needed a hero and10,000 people put their hands up!
