Presented in co-operation with Windsor Family of Schools Parent Advisory Commitee (PAC), Decoding Dyslexia BC will be showing "THE BIG PICTURE - Rethinking Dyslexia" on March 2, 2017 (Thursday). Starting at 6:30 pm in the Theatre at Ecole Windsor Secondary.

The award winning Movie was Produced by James Redford and there is medical input from Dr Sally Shaywitz from Yale University.

It features Dylan Redford , a high school senior on his way to college and several successful leaders (such as Richard Branson and Charles Schwab). The Big Picture is an inspiring documentary for Parents, Teachers and Children to promote education and understanding about Dyslexic learners.

The Movie is 52 minutes long and outlines some of the strengths that lead many Dyslexics to success and also identifies many of the challenges that face Dyslexics every day.

Door Prizes include "Not Stupid, Not Lazy, Understanding Dyslexia and other Learning Disabilities"; by Dr. Linda Siegel; "Secret Code Actions, A Resource to Support Learning to Read and Spell the English Language (Parent Edition)", Nancy Young B.A., M.Ed. and a 50$ gift certificate for Kidsbooks from Symbols Multisensory Learning Centers.
