Event Details

In the City of London, 26 schools have been identified as "Priority Schools". These are schools that reside in areas of profound poverty and are in need of time, resources and support.  Cost and access is a barrier to almost everything that these schools try to do to enrich the education and the lives of the children living in these neighbourhoods. And we know for a fact that the majority of these children are going to school hungry ... and will stay hungry all day because they've not had breakfast or lunch.

The Children’s Museum has developed a program whereby funds raised through our annual signature event “The Brush Off” will go towards supporting Priority Schools in London.

The Brush Off is a LIVE painting competition!

Vote 15 artists will test their skills through 4 rounds of intense competition. Only you can
determine who makes it through each round and is ultimately crowned the night's champion.

Bid 37 original works will be created in front of everyone's watchful eyes. No do-overs. Take a painting from the evening home by placing a winning bid and support The Children’s Museum.

Mix & Mingle A party atmosphere as guests alternate between well-crafted cocktails
and delicious appetizers.

Love Art Voting, bidding, & partying - this is all window dressing for the main draw: artists expressing their intense creativity through original works. This is artistic expression at its rawest.

London Children's Museum

The London Children’s Museum provides children and their grown-ups with extraordinary hands-on learning experiences in a distinctly child-centred environment. Part of the London community for 40 years, the Children’s Museum is where approximately 80,000 children and their families visit each year to dream and play, and gather to learn and grow. Exhibits and stimulating learning experiences allow them to explore history and heritage, investigate the complexities of science and social relationships, and celebrate the beauty in art and culture. The Children’s Museum helps children indulge their curiosity and play their way to a life of innovation and creative discovery.
