The Business - 14 Year Anniversary Party

Technique Recordings - Circle Talent Agency

Jay Faleye otherwise known as Tantrum Desire, is an electronic producer/DJ from London, UK. His love and passion for Drum & Bass music escalated since the early 2000s and has remained strong ever since.
In late 2006, Tantrum Desire released tracks such as “Dreamscape” on Heavyweight Records. His music attracted many peers which followed onto DJ’ing at residential clubs in London, also receiving air time support from BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra. By late 2007, he was then picked up by Drumsound & Basslinesmith and signed to their very own Technique Recordings.

Since then, the Londoner has had many releases leading up to his successful worldwide anthem "Reach" in 2011. An explosive single hitting over a million views on YouTube, holding the Number #1 spot on Beatport for over a month and being one of the most rotated singles in the Drum & Bass scene. This received great support from Radio presenters and DJs such as Zane Lowe, Fearne Cotton, Fabio & Grooverider, Annie Mac, Pendulum, Andy C, Benga & Skream, Sub Focus plus more. Dividing his studio time, Tantrum Desire has been busy with his live shows throughout the years, touring in many cities across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. In addition to this he has affiliated with labels such as Universal Island Records, Ministry of Sound, 3beat, with also building a history in high demand remixes for likes of The Wanted, Laidback Luke, Rusko, Matrix & Futurebound, Wideboys, Utah Saints, the list goes on.

In early 2015, Tantrum Desire released his single "Oblivion" featuring vocals from Solah, selected as one of UKF’s Top tracks of the year, taken from his debut album “Diversified” which was then released in the summer on 2015. The LP went in the Top 10 release charts on Beatport and was nominated Best Album at the Bass Music Awards sponsored by Sony. He supported the album with international tours, performing at clubs and festivals such as Ministry Of Sound, Avalon in Hollywood and Shambhala Festival in Canada.

The future is bright for the fact that Tantrum Desire has become one of the most exciting production outfits to date, with the fire to innovate and take things to the next level.

Shogun Audio - Trendkill Records - Cyber Groove Agency

Prolix will be a familiar name to most hardened Drum and Bass heads, with a back catalogue that has seen
releases on some of the most prolific and respected labels in the industry such as RAM, Playaz & Ganja Tek,
VISION, Shogun, Blackout, Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz, Viper, Virus and more recently OWSLA/MTA. His
unique style of production has achieved international recognition filling Prolix with the courage he needed
to establish his own imprint in 2011; cue the birth of the mighty Trendkill Records. As his reputation has grown, Prolix has found himself collaborating with an array of top artists from across the genre such as Noisia, Misanthrop, and Icicle, as well as remixing the likes of Ed Rush and Optical, Black Sun Empire and Chase and Status. It was with his work for the latter that led to an introduction to d&b pioneers DJ Hype which began the conception of Ganja Tek for the sole purpose of releasing his distinct sound. Since then, Prolix' production has gone from strength to strength, securing radio support from several BBC radio DJs including Friction and Mary Ann Hobbs.

One of his most seminal releases to date was the visionary crowd funded 'Project Trendkill' Album, a collaboration with Gridlok which soared to the top of the download charts and into every self respecting
DJ’s record bags the world over. Teaming up with Gridlok had previously come up trumps again, drawing the
attention of RAM Records head honcho Andy C, with their debut 12" of 'Membrane' and 'Babylon' devastating
soundsystems worldwide.

Other landmark releases for Prolix include 'Crater' on Renegade Hardware with Nocturnal, 'Asteroids' on
VISION with NOISIA, 'On Like That' EP with MC Coppa, and the 'Transcendent' EP on Trendkill featuring
collabs with Misanthrop, Mob Tactics, Rido, Meth and MC Coppa again. Trendkill is continuing to gather a strong and dedicated following release after release. This really is one to watch for the future.Having toured America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Prolix is well known for his high energy, floor-filling DJ sets. As well as doing his own headline shows accross Europe, he has also shared the stage with some of the top names in drum and bass including Chase and Status, Subfocus, and Pendulum.
