The Business of Coaching 3.0

Building a profitable and sustainable coaching practice

• Do you aspire to be a professional coach; Life Coach, Leadership Coach, Business Coach, etc?
• Are you new to the industry and curious about building a profitable and sustainable and practice?
Have you been coaching for a while, earning revenue, aspiring to earn more?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, this night is for you.

THE FIRST COACHING MEETUP OF ITS KIND... meeting for the third time in a row ;-)

There are a number of well-meaning certifying bodies in the Coaching industry who teach the art of coaching (their own guiding methodology). This is a good thing.

However, based on my seven and a half years of experience, I have not seen a local resource for coaches to discuss and/or learn about building a sustainable and profitable practice.

Thus, this event is it...

A night of social interaction and discussion with seasoned, new, and aspiring professional coaches.

This event isn't about how to coach, it's about how to build a coaching business, based on the lived experiences of others - working full time - with different and diverse coaches. (a list of who is on the panel is below).

Tonight is about sharing knowledge without expectation.

Nothing is for sale. No pitch. 100% Transparency.

The sole purpose of tonight is to shed light on the ins and outs of launching and growing a private coaching practice based on the experiences of our panelists (below).

While all questions are welcome, based on feedback from the last event the panel discussion and panel Q&A will focus largely on;

  • How we market our services (generating leads)
  • Our sales process and lead conversion practices
  • Financial Health - menu of services, pricing models, fee structure, invoicing terms

5:55 pm - Doors open. Mingle. Grab a drink. Talk to people. (please don't come early unless you want to help set up ;-)

6:30 pm - Panel Discussion and Q&A (Moderator - Ernest Barbaric)
7:15 pm - First Break
7:40 pm - Panel Discussion and Q&A
8:30 pm - Mingle. Discuss. Ask questions. Make sh*t happen.
9:00 pm - Event ends

Do you have burning questions about building a profitable and sustainable coaching practice prior to the event? Yes? Send your questions to us before the event so we can formulate some clear answers.

Gravity Espresso and Wine Bar - because if you're going to mix and mingle, you should do it over a great cup of coffee, tea, local craft beer, wine or scotch.

It's an intimate event and Gravity is normally closed on Monday evenings. In other words, it's just going to be us - how nice is that!

This is a self-funded event and a small fee of $30 covers the cost of staffing the cafe, a nice drink of your choice - let's face it, we network better with a drink in our hands.

No refunds. However, please know your money will have an honourable purpose... it will be in my favourite espresso and wine bar in Calgary. Local business owners supporting local business owners.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

  • Street parking on 10th Street
  • Heated underground parking - entrance on South side of building
  • Paid lot on South side of building

Vince Fowler

Vince Fowler is an explorer of human wisdom. A Business Coach and speaker who is deeply curious how emotions, feelings, and thoughts affect that way people behave and how it impacts their success in life and business.

For the past 8 years, Vince has observed and explored why some people achieve success and live a life that’s meaningful to them while others seem to exist with the same challenges over and over, with no significant improvement.

Through his exploration, lived experiences, and coaching Vince helps others to connect the dots between story, behaviour, and success. Vince takes what you want, gets curious about why you want it, and then gives you the resources and tools to achieve it – all you have to do is exercise the courage to execute.
