Event Information
About this event
Part 2 of our design sprint scheduled on Saturday, February 5th will be rescheduled to Sunday, February 6th at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
HMW help singles avoid being "ghosted" after being matched on dating apps?
In this topic we will explore how to develop an app that will address users pain points and resolve problems. We will explore the users needs, understand the issue through a WWH mapping, brainstorm different solutions through a value proposition map and develop a visual prototype.
In each of our sessions our facilitators Clare and Melanie will lead you through the workshop and help you interpret workshop material. Guest UX designers will provide professional feedback and answer questions you may have about UX/UI design.
Each session is ticketed as a PWYC (Pay What You Can). Please donate as much as you can to help us develop more events in the future.

How do Sprints work?
We follow a simplified approach to the sprint.
In 2 weeks we define a challenge prompt, empathize with the users, ideate solutions and build prototypes that address the users’ problem. Learn what a sprint is like in this video below.

Here's what others say about our Design Sprints!
"I LOVED how clare went through the user journey map. That was the first time I had done that and I feel like i learned a lot from that process. "
Sarah Ryder (Student UX Designer)
"That was incredible. I learned so much about the process, and things that have only been theory in my classes. Facilitation was open, listening, directed. I learned so much about online facilitation through Miro! Amazing to watch that happen and see the preperation on the board! I feel like everyone had the chance to contribute and be heard. We started to touch on creating some awesome app features. "
Betty Wang (UX Design Intern)
