Description

The Compassionate Caregiver's Tips for Staying Afloat

Most people do not expect to find themselves in the role of caregiver – is it any wonder that many caregivers end up in emotional distress? And for many there is no end date in sight: years of ups and downs, and often sideways, take their toll.

Join Sandi, Regional Learning Centre Caregiver Educator, as she briefly touches on caregiver distress, while primarily focusing on the best ideas for surviving and even thriving as a caregiver. Through an engaging, interactive, and fun workshop, you will come away feeling refreshed!

This session will be held at the Regional Learning Centre | 2030 Bristol Circle Suite 202 in Oakville.

Free respite available for persons needing care during sessions (must be pre-arranged).

Please note: Respite requests must be received 48 hours before the day of the event, please contact

Sandi Robinson, Community Educator, at 905-829-4499 ext 109 or sandi.robinson@mhlhinrlc.ca to register.
