Event description

Description

The film follows the extraordinary life of a Metis Drum Maker who found his true calling later in life. It highlights important issues such as racism, cultural suppression, drug and alcohol abuse among the first nations and Metis people of Canada. Meticulously shot over the period of two and half years in various locales throughout Southern Ontario, The Drum Maker will make your heart resonate with its power, honesty and beauty. After the screening there will be a short Q and A session with the director and his team. Love to see you there.
