Event description

Description

"The Dymon Story" is a special luncheon fundraiser for Ottawa Innercity Ministries (OIM), sponsored by RBC Wealth Management.

Join us for a unique lunch and learn experience at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club with special Keynote Speaker, Steve Creighton, Senior Vice President since 2006 of the Dymon Storage Group of Companies, Ottawa's largest self storage provider.

Founded in 1995, the Dymon Group of Companies began with the acquisition of a substantial portfolio of commercial properties, building on a concept that has taken self storage to a whole new level. Dymon Storage currently controls over 80% of the market share of the storage industry in the Nation's Capital and has grown to be the 4th largest self storage provider in Canada.

As the Senior Vice President of Dymon since 2006, Steve Creighton has been managing the operations, financing and marketing of the Dymon Group of Companies, including its high profile brand. Dymon Storage represents an entirely new paradigm and has achieved unparalleled success in the marketplace through its broad array of products and services, and relentless focus on exceeding customer expectations. Building on its achievements in Ottawa, Dymon has already begun development of approximately 80 facilities in the Greater Toronto Area comprising over 10 million square feet of its industry leading properties.

JOIN US for this unique lunch and learn experience at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club.

ALL PROCEEDS support the Outreach Services of Ottawa Innercity Ministries. Ottawa Innercity Ministries has become recognized as a significant outreach program in the downtown core. In addition to leading the City in the number of Outreach Teams that walk the streets daily, OIM runs 3 weekly Drop-Ins, a Work Skills Program, and has developed 'Innercity Arts', a strength based, cutting edge program for street-engaged youth and young adults.

With the support and blessing of local churches and the greater Ottawa business community, and leveraging over one hundred active volunteers, OIM has become an important player in the City, effecting change in adults and in young people's lives.
