Event description
A deep dive into the ecological underpinnings of the Passover haggadah!

About this Event

Passover marks the Jewish people's liberation from slavery in Egypt and the coming of spring. Yet it is also a story about land and the natural world, commemorating the agrarian and pastoral soil out of which Jewish tradition grew.

Explore the deep ecological underpinnings of the Passover haggadah, while digging into Rabbi Ellen Bernstein's new-ish Passover haggadah, The Promise of the Land.

Participants are encouraged to purchase their own copy of The Promise of the Land in advance of this session so they can follow along with the author. Purchasing this haggadah is also a show of support and gratitude for Rabbi Ellen Bernstein’s work.

Copies can be purchased at shop.shoresh.ca.
