Event description
The Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) is pleased to invite you to the Electrification Debate Series 2019.

About this Event

The Canadian electricity system is quickly changing thanks to new technologies and changing expectations. The innovation in our sector and the need to transition to a low carbon economy are allowing people to manage how they use energy in unimaginable ways. All these changes will be made possible by the electricity sector. Electrification is our future – the future on transportation, buildings, homes, and much more.

In Ottawa we will be focusing how transportation is currently being affected and altered and how new electrification elements will impact the future.

Featuring :

Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug'n Drive

Bruce Winchester, Executive Director at Canadian Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance

Joan Haysom, Innovative Energy Market Chief, J.L. Richards & Associates Limited

Christopher Ralph, Manager, Environmental Policy and Corporate Responsibility, Canada Post

Moderated by: CEA's VP Policy, Channa Perera
