  • The Empathy Effect: Countering Bias to Improve Health Outcomes
    • Learning Objectives:
      • Understand empathy and its’ impact on health and health outcomes
      • Identify judgments and bias that impede empathy conveyance
      • Use the IN GEAR model to convey empathy
      • Workshop for both healthcare professionals and people working in helping and supporting roles.
    • Logistics:
      • Length: 4.5 hrs, non-customizable
      • Number of participants: 6 minimum, 30 maximum
