The Employment Standards Act, 2000 after Bill 148: Enforcing and shaping Ontario’s new employment standards

This session will provide an overview of key substantive employment standards changes introduced by Bill 148. This session will also provide an opportunity for clinic staff to collaborate and discuss legal and organizing strategies to help shape the ESA in a positive way for workers, including by identifying issues for strategic intervention and enforcement. The session will also link the legal and enforcement work with the broader $15 and Fairness campaign and the upcoming election.
