What do you say when someone is grieving? Learn practical ways to communicate with, and support someone through their grieving process.

About this event

This webinar is presented in partnership by Heart House Hospice, Dorothy Ley Hospice and the Regional Learning Centre for community staff looking for more information support their clients through the grieving process.

Do you know someone who is grieving the death of a loved one or another crisis of loss? Have you ever felt tongue-tied about what to say, how to behave, or what to do to support them? This presentation will explore practical ways to support and communicate with people during their most challenging life circumstances. It will present what the grieving person might be going through and what the support people might be going through. Participants will come away empowered with strategies that are authentic, supportive and compassionate for all.
