How long does the workshop take?

About 30 minutes. It's designed to be relaxed and fun — not rushed. If you're a little slower or want to perfect your stems, we'll make sure you leave with something you're proud of.

What materials are used?

The majority of beads used are high-quality glass beads in a variety of colours. All wire, stems, tools, and finishing materials are included in the ticket price — you don't need to bring anything.

Can I choose my own colours

Accepted Answer

Yes! You'll have a selection of bead colours and styles to choose from on the day. Part of the fun is picking a combination that feels like you.

Question 4

Is the $50 ticket all-inclusive?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Everything you need to make your bouquet is covered — beads, wire, stems, tools, and your finished piece to take home. No hidden materials fees.

Question 5

What age is the kids workshop suitable for?

We recommend ages 5 and up. Younger children are welcome if a parent or guardian stays at the table with them throughout the session.

Question 6

What will  my child make?

Accepted Answer

Each child chooses to make either a pair of earrings or a necklace. They'll pick their beads, put it all together with guidance, and take it home at the end.

How long is the kids session?

Between 15 and 30 minutes depending on what your child makes and how they're feeling on the day. It's designed to fit neatly within the hour that dad is in the braids session next door.

Will my child be supervised the whole time?

Yes — the workshop is fully guided. That said, parents and guardians are always welcome to sit alongside their child if they prefer.

Why is the kids ticket $43.50 and not a round number?

Great question! We've absorbed all Eventbrite ticketing and processing fees into the price so that what you see is exactly what you pay — no surprise charges at checkout.

How many kids are in each session?

Each time slot is capped at 6 kids to keep it personal, relaxed, and fun. Once a slot sells out, it's gone — so book early to secure your preferred time.

Question 11

My child has two left hands — will they be okay?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. No crafting experience needed whatsoever. Our job is to make sure every child leaves with something they made and love, regardless of experience. We will be finishing the product for the kid, as using pliers will be difficult (depending on the child)

Question 12

What is the sibling ticket?

Accepted Answer

It covers two children from the same group for $42 — saving you $8 compared to buying two individual tickets. Each child still makes their own piece and has their own full experience.

Question 13

Do both kids have to attend the same time slot?

Accepted Answer

Ideally yes — the siblings ticket is for both children together in the same session. When you book, you'll be asked to select your preferred time slot at checkout.

Question 14

Can I use the siblings ticket if my kids aren't siblings?

Accepted Answer

Of course! It works for any two children attending together — cousins, friends, neighbours, you name it.

How do I book the braids session?

Accepted Answer

The braids session is run by our collaborator @touchedwithcarebyk — head to her page to book directly. Once you've booked with her, she'll send you the discount code to use on the kids beads ticket at checkout here.

Do I need to book both the braids session and the kids ticket separately?

Yes — braids and beads are two separate bookings. Book dad's braids session through @touchedwithcarebyk and the kids workshop right here on this Eventbrite page. All together you will get a savings of $10 for both events

Can I buy tickets at the door?

We strongly recommend booking in advance — especially for the kids sessions which sell out fast. Walk-ins may be accommodated for the workshops depending on availability on the night. We will take walk-ins depending on space availability.
