There's plenty of hype about social media. Yet there are real benefits for consultants too.
This hands-on session helps you use the tools of social media to build trust in a transparent world. You'll be doing actively, rather than taking notes passively.
We'll focus on LinkedIn, using a live profile as a guide. You'll have time to make changes to your own profile. You'll move at your own pace. We'll share our varying perspectives to help you decide what you want to do. For example, opinions vary on recent changes to LinkedIn:
- reduced integration with Twitter
- new look
- removal of LinkedIn Events
- the merits of Skills and Expertise
- removal of LinkedIn Answers (on Jan 31, 2013)
As a minimum, you'll learn
- Why/how to show The Experion Group on your profile
- Join and participate in our LinkedIn group
- How to post a status update and how often
- How to benefit from our blog
- How to promote yourself by promoting other members
