The Famous Five: Canadian Women Who Fought for Seats in Parliament and the Senate

Sunday, May 6, 2:00 p.m. in our Interpretive Centre

Join us for two performance pieces featuring the five Alberta women whose tireless work won Canadian women the vote in 1918 and the right to sit in the Senate in 1929. Within this small group, we have our first woman judge, first woman to sit in a legislature, first woman to sit in a government cabinet, a famous author and founder of the Victorian Order of Nurses.

Cost: $8 + HST per person.
