Description

Join YNTA for a day of learning about an increasingly important topic, fentanyl and drugs. As health professionals we see the effects of these drugs on our patients with increasing regularity, and we need to know more to deal with it correctly. All health professionals are welcome to attend. Registration includes lunch and refreshments. Certificates of attendance will be available.

Presentations will include:
AHS Addictions and Mental Health - Jennie McLester - Provides professionals with an overview of drug trends, process of addiction, treatment, and support options through Alberta Health Services


Edmonton Police Service - Guy Pilon - Discussing the world of street drugs and fentanyl


CleanScene - Mike Ryan - The past 50 years and the beliefs, habits and attitudes that our society and the medical community have concerning trauma, addiction and the change expected from the community
