PLEASE READ!
Thanks to Covid-19, Loft 112 has had to make some adjustments in order to reopen to showcase the work of our community AND observe the safety protocol.
Please note: All of this will happen with masks, hand sanitizer, windows and doors open, —weather permitting— and clean up on the regular with bleach, soap and water.
For the months of November through to December, Loft 112 will showcase 3 art projects/shows at one time in the Creative Hive space:
FOR NOVEMBER:
The Boxed Story Gallery (30 artists and writers)
Missing You Monday travelling artist/writer book (16 artists)
Suspicions - The art of R. Michael Fisher from November 17th to December 15th
This show includes an artist talk on November 28th at 2pm
In order to attend and enjoy these three shows, you MUST pre-book a one hour ticket as we must limit our viewing numbers to 5 people per hour.
To book: Make sure you are on the right page for either TUES THROUGH FRIDAY or SAT AND SUN. Then click on the date you want to come, choose the time slot you wish to attend and order the number of tickets you would like. That's it!

THE BOXED STORIES GALLERY - September 9th to December 16th
This is a truly unique experience for artists and viewers alike! Housed within a vintage card catalogue, the library’s one time answer to organizing a collection of books for readers to locate on a shelf, visitors will be encouraged to discover varied artworks as they open each drawer. The pieces will range from paintings, prints, photography, assemblage, sculpture, writing, etc. There will be catalogs of the exhibit available for purchase as well!
MISSING YOU MONDAY - September 9th to December 16th
There are many layers of strangeness and struggles to 2020. Not being at art openings and book readings, surrounded by friends and family are certainly on the list. At Loft 112, our rooms were dark but our plans to stay connected continued. Missing You Monday was one such project intended to keep our literary creative culture alive and our writers and artists and community connected. Missing You Monday is a travelling book—received on a Monday passed on to the next artist or writer the following Monday. The week it was in the artist/writer’s possession, a new page was produced—art, text, or a combination of the two. We are excited to share the beautiful work that was born of this concept.
