The Health Benefits of Green Space and Low-Carbon Infrastructure

About this Event

Hosted by the Smart Prosperity Institute

This 3-day workshop series focuses on how to better value and incorporate the health benefits communities experience from low-carbon and green infrastructure projects into decision-making.

This workshop aims to help decision-makers by bringing together health experts, low-carbon infrastructure developers and advocates, environmental NGOs active in natural infrastructure and greenspaces, and municipal governments to discuss the practical benefits and challenges to assessing the health benefits from projects. Smart Prosperity will also present research findings from our ongoing work on valuing the health co-benefits from low-carbon and green infrastructure projects such as energy efficient buildings, renewable energy, low-carbon transportation and nature-based solutions.
