About this event
The Huron Carole, “Angels without Wings” Virtual Event
Huron Carole is coming to Victoria, virtually! Join us from the comfort of your own home. The Huron Carole is a seasonal music tradition spanning more than 3 decades touring from coast to coast to coast. As the entertainment community eases back to live performances where permissible, this renowned concert series will once again Zoom to your favourite screen.
This year, enjoy Christmas classics, road stories, fables, original music and Dad jokes that can only be delivered by Tom Jackson. Tom McKillip leads the band again as we welcome HC alumni musicians Phil Hall, John Thiel and Keith Floen. Keeping everyone in time is drummer Joey McIntyre and be ready for blues vocalist Samantha King to take things up a notch.
The show will be held on December 10th virtually via Zoom. Show tickets ($15) include exclusive access to a wonderful 75 minute performance full of hope, joy, and Christmas spirit.
If you are unable to make it to the event but still want to support the Mustard Seed and our community work specially during this Holiday season, please click donate at the ticket section.
Tom Jackson, founder of The Huron Carole Benefit Concert Series, is a musician, beloved TV personality (North of 60, Star Trek, Law and Order), and a long-time champion for the marginalized. Having experienced hard times in life, he discovered music was a way to help others.
This year’s theme is Angels Without Wings as we pay tribute to all the angels around us. “Sometimes they’re invisible – just like you and me when we need help. So, if you’re down and out and need help, find someone who needs it more than you. You’ll feel much better.”
Tom Jackson, C.C., LL.D.
